1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent of every government office. It does not store official criminal records, retrieve government files, perform official checks, or submit paperwork for a visitor.

Its content identifies the King County Sheriff's Office, criminal courts, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Public Sex Offender Registry, and outside research tools that may provide a relevant access route.

Access to official Texas records remains governed by the Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, and criminal-history dissemination rules in Government Code Chapter 411. These terms do not expand any right of access under those laws.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of use, you agree not to:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool may not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate. Such conduct may also be criminal. Texas Public Sex Offender Registry data is provided for public safety awareness. The registry terms and Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 62 govern registry information and restrict misuse, including threats or vigilante action against a listed person.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not produce credit reports, consumer reports, or official background checks. Our advertising partners' tools are not offered here for any FCRA-regulated screening. You agree not to use site or linked-tool information to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

Any check required for a regulated purpose must come from Texas Department of Public Safety or another service that lawfully meets the applicable FCRA duties.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing published here is legal advice. General King County record information cannot determine how a charge, warrant, conviction, nondisclosure rule, or expunction law applies to a person. Seek advice from a licensed Texas attorney.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are provided "as is." We make no guarantee that:

• The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
• The site will stay up and running without interruptions
• Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
• Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Criminal records change when charges are filed, resolved, restricted, or expunged. Gaps and delays can occur. No content here is an official statement from a court, sheriff, Texas DPS, or other government agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to a sheriff, court, Texas agency, legal aid organization, or outside search service. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or charges. Review the destination's terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to King County Criminal History or its content partners. Written permission is required to copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from that material.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the site or reliance on information obtained here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, actions, or demands caused by your use of the site or breach of these terms, including related legal costs.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute connected with site use must be brought in a court located in Texas, subject to applicable jurisdiction and venue law.

We may revise these terms. A revision takes effect when the updated version is posted on this page.

14. Severability
